Food Safety Recommendations

Welcome to The Full Plate. We look forward to serving you.

The health and safety of our customers are very important to us. Our facility is licensed by the Board of Health and meets or exceeds local food safety standards. As a customer of The Full Plate, you agree to:

  • Follow all rules of conduct related to the use of The Full Plate facilities including:
      Washing your hands thoroughly at the start of each session
      Washing your hands frequently during the course of your session
      Using tools provided to assemble food
      Not touching shared ingredients with your hands
      Not handling other people's food
      Using gloves when needed
  • Assume full responsibility for any children you bring onto The Full Plate premises to insure their safety and the safety of others
  • Not attend an in-store session at The Full Plate if you have, or have been exposed to, any communicable diseases including cold, flu, etc
  • Attend an in-store session, pick up meals, or receive delivery at the time you have reserved
  • If assembling or picking up meals, assume full responsibility for food once it leaves The Full Plate's premises
  • Release The Full Plate (also known as Full Plate Meals, Inc.) from all claims, damages, and causes of action or liabilities which may arise as a result of your preparation, storage, and consumption of The Full Plate meals

Once food leaves The Full Plate premises or is delivered by The Full Plate, The Full Plate is not liable or responsible for the food. To keep you and your family and friends safe, the following are our recommendations for the proper handling of food:

  • Promptly refrigerate or freeze The Full Plate meals following the conclusion of your in-store session or after picking up or receiving meals that have already been assembled
  • Maintain refrigerator temperature at 40°F or less and maintain freezer temperature at 0°F or less
  • Observe the refrigerator and freezer storage dates on the label for each meal
  • Fully cook each meal, following the defrosting instructions, cooking instructions, and internal temperature guidelines provided on the label
